The organization of the IV Meeting of Typography, with the subject “From engraving to written”, calls for submission and presentation of originals short papers or posters, academic contributions and / or professional in various application of typographic contexts:

The intended areas crossing the theory and practice, from epigraphy through the tradition of printing until the new dynamic and interactive environments, where typographic tradition meets other design areas such as multimedia, audiovisual or cinema.

IV Typography Meeting, Idanha-a-Velha, Portugal
[Rules and Instructions]
The submission of short papers and posters of projects (academic and/or professional) should be made electronically through the EasyChair online submission system EasyChair.
The papers and posters will be judged by the Scientific and Technical Committee under Double-blind peer review, which may suggest corrections to submissions.
Submissions can not contain elements that identify their authors. The submission system will hold a record that meets the following parameters:
Submission details
— Title;
— Summary until 500 words;
— Category (short papers, scientific posters or project posters);
— Keywords;
— Topics (subject areas);
— File attachment with the short paper (3000 words on .doc or .docx) or posters (.pdf).
Papers
— Ms word format (.doc or .docx) (without no personal identification);
— Full text up to 3000 words;
— References formatted in APA Standard.

Posters
Are accepted posters in two main areas: scientific (resulting from an investigation and making use of an explicit theme, goals, state of the art, methodology, hypothesis, results, bibliography) and professional or academic projects (final or in development).

Publication
The accepted articles and posters will be published in electronic format online, with ISBN.
Presentation
The presentation should be prepared for 15 minutes maximum.
Before the IV Meeting of Typography, authors should send their paper presentation file (PowerPoint or. Pdf).
Files will not be accepted on the day of the Meeting.
